I have been in Ukraine throughout this past year, working directly with volunteer and humanitarian initiatives supporting people affected by the war. Being on the ground means seeing the needs clearly and responding quickly, without distance or assumptions.
For me, volunteering is about presence, trust, and responsibility. It’s about making sure help reaches real people and that no one feels forgotten in the middle of crisis. I work directly on the ground in Ukraine with volunteer organizations, including Fight for Freedom Ukraine, to help make sure aid reaches real people where it is needed most. As part of Lane of Trust, I serve as a local resource, helping to coordinate support, verify real needs, and stay in direct contact with children and families affected by the war.
